Why Snyder exists

The Snyder Lab at Stanford studies cancer dynamics through cell metabolism, the process that supplies energy and raw materials for tumor growth and reproduction. Using metabolomics, which examines the small molecules made when the body breaks down food, drugs, chemicals, or its own tissue, the lab works to identify metabolic pathways cancers rely on that could be targeted with potentially effective therapies.
